The Canadian Home Builders Association (EN) has named them Builder of the Year (Multi- Family) for five consecutive years and recently awarded Renovator of the Year (over $25,000). The company’s first Builder of the Year (multi-family) award (2002) was for Brittany on Bond, an eight-unit executive brownstone project on Bond Street, overlooking St. John’s harbor. The second was for West Highlands (2003), a 10-unit town home development located at the corner of Empire Avenue and Edinburgh Street. The third (2004) was for Hillview Trails, a 16- unit semi-detached project off Southside Road. For the forth consecutive year, (2005) Gibraltar Development was again recognized and awarded for their project East Village at Quidi Vidi, a 30 home subdivision in Quidi Vidi Village. Recently, in 2008, the developer once again received both Builder of the Year (multi-unit) and Renovator of the Year (over $25,000)
