Taking pictures has been a passion of mine, for many years. Even as a kid, whenever I could get my hands on my parent's digital camera, I would find something to take snap shots of. I am very observant and often see the little things many people miss in the world around them. When I take pictures, my aim is to capture those little things and memorable moments, in such a way that, when you look at the pictures later, they touch an intimate cord of remembrance within you. What you see, is what you experienced when the picture was taken, plus, the little peripheral details that might have escaped you during the moment. Heavily edited pictures can be bold and stand out, or be soft and magical, but is that the way we really see things? Is that the picture in your memory? This isn't to say that I don't liked edited pictures, and some photographers are talented editors, but I think art is being over edited – as more editing tools are being created. What I offer is a simplistic approach. Capturing true and unstaged images, that require either no or only a minimal amount of editing. High quality pictures that speak to the heart and are special as they are. For those who like more rustic styles, I can take pictures in black and white, sepia or cyan. I particularly love taking pictures of animals and plants/flowers. I have a lot of experience with many animals and pets, big and small and some reptiles, so I am not afraid to get close for the perfect shot. I know a lot about plants and natural environments, so I can capture true natural beauty in my pictures.
