A Word From The Principal It is with pleasure and pride that I welcome you to our warm and friendly Gladesville Primary School. Every parent is anxious to find a good school, one that will care for their child and prepare them for their future. Gladesville PS is such a school. We are a smaller school nestled in a quiet street in a residential area of Kilsyth. Gladesville is more than just a school it truly is a learning community. We have a reputation for strong family partnerships and parents are actively involved in all aspects of school life. It is in this way that we encourage every child to be the best they can be. At Gladesville we believe our main focus should be on developing children’s literacy and numeracy. However we offer a broad range of extra programs so that every child experiences success and feels good about themselves. We provide an exciting educational program where learning is relevant and fun. One of our greatest strengths is our team of dedicated staff. They know all of the children very well - students are not just a face in the crowd. Everyone looks after each other. At Gladesville we care. Our school has excellent facilities - it was totally modernised and refurbished in 2008 and we have a new multi-purpose complex for Art, Performing Arts and P.M.P. We welcome visitors at Gladesville.
