I personally love Chinese Knotting Art since I was in high school, but back then I could not sit down quietly and pay full attention to make a simple piece because it is too complicated , time consuming and requires enormous patience. With heavy study load in school, I just could not spend too much time on the art. Now I am trying my best to squeeze time on doing the knotting art and I am so enjoying in making things lovely. The beauty of Chinese Knot is that you only use one string from the beginning to the end to make virations of knots without breaking the cord or adding other cords. So you have to deliberate every joint or connection and no matter how complicated the pattern is you have to be very patient to pull tight the string bit by bit by walking through the whole route till the final shape is set.
