Nashville, TN 37201 NOVEMBER 26, 2015 @ 10:00 AM gobblegobblegivenashville@gmail.com It started with one person... and now a group of friends have shown up to help cook and deliver meals for the past 10 years – the first year, 28 homeless were fed! The next year more showed up and over 50 meals went out. The following year, we reached the 100 mark. Last year we were able to feed over 2,500 homeless in our neighborhood and left them with t-shirts, hats, shoes, sweaters, and tooth brush kits. Gobble Gobble Give has become an incredible example of what a community can do to make change. Please join us... we'd love to have you!

Description
All volunteers are asked to bring the following: 1. A DISH OF FOOD. Already cooked. Warm is preferred. It can be as little as a side of vegetables We can always use cooked turkeys and main course items. Of course, desserts are always awesome. 2. FIVE (5) SMALL TOILETRY KITS. that include a: toothbrush/toothpaste, soap and shampoo. 3. CLOTHING AND BLANKETS. Please bring any used blankets and/or gently used sweaters, jackets, shirts, socks, shoes, beanies/hats for men, women, children.

We are a not for profit 501c3 dog rescue that specializes in the rescue of giant breed working dogs. All our dogs are in private foster homes. We are a 501c3 not for profit dog rescue. Our dogs are spread out across many states, all east of the Mississippi. We have over twenty coordinators whose jobs include foster coordination, adoption coordinators, transport coordinators, and a range of volunteers who perform administrative tasks and the many tasks related to the care of animals. We place dogs from the South to the New England area, including all states along the way and nearby. We also place in the Ohio Valley into Wisconsin and Illinois. We have recently added TX and Louisiana. We do not place outside our area except in the rarest of cases.
