Going for Jesus Ministries Sunday Continental Breakfast 10 am Worship Service @ 10:45 Our Beliefs God There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19). Jesus Christ In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory (John 3:16; Acts 1:9-11; Romans 1:3-6). Bible The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16). Original Sin and the Fall of Man: We believe that man, created in the image of God, by voluntary disobedience fell into the depths of sin and iniquity, therefore passing on sin’s nature and consequences to all mankind, with their accompanying loss of intended meaning and purpose (Gen. 1:27; Rom.5:12). RepentanceThe only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ (John 14:6). The Salvation of Man: Man's only hope of redemption and salvation from the power of sin is to willingly choose repentance and faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, and that it is possible for a believer to lose his or her salvation by willfully turning away from the provisions of salvation which Christ has made. Salvation is a free gift from God and is available to any and all who call upon the Name of the Lord (Acts 4:12; Rom. 5:8-13, 15; 10:9, 13; Jas. 1:21; Eph. 2:8; Heb. 3:12, 6:4-6, 12:15; Matt. 13:22; 2 Tim. 4:10; 1 Tim.1:19). The Rapture In the blessed hope - the rapture of the Church at Christ's coming (Titus 2:13). Eternity In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation (Revelation 20:11-15). The Church and its Mission: We believe in the Great Commission to go into all the world to make disciples (Matt. 28:19). The Ordinances of the Church: Baptism in water in the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. All who repent of their sins and believe in Christ as Savior and Lord are to be baptized. This is a declaration to the world that they identify with Christ in His death and have been raised with Him in newness of life (Matt. 28:19; Mark 16:16; Acts 10:47, 48; Rom. 6:4). The Lord's Supper consisting of the elements—bread and the fruit of the vine—is the symbol expressing our sharing the Divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Pet. 1:4), a memorial of His suffering and death (1 Cor.11:26), and a prophecy of His second coming (1 Cor. 11:26), and is enjoined on all believers until He comes! The Baptism in the Holy Spirit: The baptism of believers in the Holy Spirit with evidence by speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4). With the baptism in the Holy Spirit comes power for life and service in the ministry of the Body of Christ. We believe in corporate prayer with the believer’s prayer language. (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4, 8; 2:11; 10:46; 1 Cor. 12:1-31). Divine Healing: Divine healing was provided for all in the Old Testament (Ex. 15:22-26; Ps. 103:1-3; Isa. 53:4, 5) and in the New Testament it is an integral part of the Gospel (Matt. 8:16, 17; Acts 5:16; Jas. 5:14-16). The Final Judgment: We believe that all shall stand before the judgment seat of Christ: the redeemed to be delivered unto everlasting life, and the unrepentant unto everlasting punishment (Rev. 20:11, 12; 2Cor. 5:10). Healing The redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer (1 Peter 2:24). Baptism In water baptism by immersion (Matthew 28:19). Holy Spirit Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation (Titus 3:5). Baptism in the Holy Spirit The baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it. Holiness In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life (Galatians 5:16-25). Pastor Silver

Description

OUR MISSION STATEMENT GOING FOR JESUS MINISTRIES (GFJMinistries) is committed to reaching our world with the gospel of Jesus Christ! We are holding crusades here in the states & overseas as well to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world. Our purpose is to Reach out, to transform, and to raise up men and women, manifesting the reality of Jesus Christ to the world. OUR VISSION Invade every City for Christ and to all the world! We started a revival in September 2010 in Manila visiting different places and also one in Mindanao which is in the South of Ozamiz City in the Philippines in various locations, as you can see in our video, that's our mission trip and birthing of our ministry "GOING FOR JESUS MINISTRIES" and we've seen hundreds of people getting saved in different places. Miracles and healing were overflowing, deliverance's also as we ministered to the people. Church Planting Now it's our time to raise up a church in Dallas Multicultural, Bilingual and in the Philippines where people would not only be saved, but also pastored, discipled, and trained. Not to warm a church pew, but invading the city for Christ and to shake this world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Provide Providing a meal, Clothing, Discipleship, Housing here and Overseas. Going into the communities with food for the body and the gospel for the soul. Jesus fed the multitudes and also taught the multitudes (John 6:1-14). Ministering the love of Jesus and praying for their needs. Kids Outreach After school Program Reaching out to the children Reading, toys, activities, a cup of drink. Jesus said “Let the little children come to me” (Matthew19:14). Kids are for the kingdom of God. Transportation Our church van here in the states provides transportation for those without a vehicle. Most people can not go to church in the Philippines because of transportation. They can not afford a simple motorcycle taxi, or bicycle taxi that cost 10 cents USD to ride. We want to provide our ministry with basic transportation needs with a 18 passenger bus so the people can come and worship God. Education It's our plan to have a school with christian values from kindergarten to high school. Providing a school of ministry, pastoral, worship leaders, teachers, music and dance ministry. Psalm 37:23 American King James Version The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delights in his way.
