Based at Pimpama on the Gold Coast a partner team Lesl & Kat have started what should of started a long time ago on the Gold Coast. We both have a passion for old school rock n roll and have both learnt music from some of the greatest Aussie rock legends. We are friendly, warm, helpful and love working with younger people to teach them all about Rock, Jazz, Country, Blues, Classical and of course the all important scales- But we also want kids to ENJOY! themselves, it seems lessons these days are VERY expensive, and by the time the teacher has stopped talking the lesson is over, half an hour is not enough. So we are running 1 hour sessions for only $30 at our home studio on the Gold Coast, or $35- $40 per hour if we come to you, servicing most of the gold coast and brisbane. We can teach bass, guitar, basic piano and vocal/singing. Performance skills, drama, acting- we want to build up our team of kids and teens for lessons then start an after school Rock n Roll programme, just like the movie.. but a little more...professional haha! Singing Lessons- combine a mixture of different genres, from learning everything from breathing, to posture and performance as well as music history from some of the greatest performers in history- Kat teaches people one on one in a fun and energetic class that kids love- Having taught 15 kids in her home town of Byron Bay for 3 years and moving away all her students miss her terribly and she wishes to build up a new set of budding stars! ready to grow in confidence and positive life goals! You also have the option of including some guitar and piano in the hourly lesson for no extra charge. Kae has a background in Jazz singing and one on one training with star performer 'Diane Horder Young' and working alongside some of Australians top musicians in 1960s/70s rock n roll! Guitar Lessons- Having played in some of Brisbanes best bands and having a passion for 1950s and 60s Blues, Rock n Roll and Country- Les can take a basic player to a confident performer very quickly, theres no mess around with the lesson- alot of teachers stretch it out! But we want kids to get good fast and also enjoy themselves! Les can also teach normal guitar, electric guitar and how to stand/posture, hand arm and body exercises for health. also basic bass and banjo!
