Newly opened small business in Sudbury, Ontario that produces freshly baked dog treats from quality, all-natural ingredients. There are no additives or preservatives and all the ingredients are thoroughly researched and canine safe. Benefits I loved the idea of knowing exactly what my dogs were eating. I did a lot of research and quickly realized that the ingredients used in pet food was very poor quality. Without going into too much detail, the main ingredients normally consist of ingredients not fit for human consumption. Ingredients such as road kill diseased, dieing and decaying animals/animal parts and moldy grain. Today there have been a lot of pet food/treats recalled. Did you know that a product could be made with "meat" from China, but "put together/manufactured" in the Canada and labeled made in the Canada? This practice has been going on for years. The "meat" coming from China does not have to meet Canadian standards. Even though our Canadian standards are not perfect, they are better then China. No shots, testing or inspections from Canadian inspectors. This was an issue even 15 years ago. Let's talk Jerky Treats Since 2007 the FDA has gotten reports that dogs have been getting sick and dieing after consuming Jerky treats. The only problem is no one knows why. It's at the point now that the FDA is asking pet owners whose dogs have gotten sick or died to have their Vets contact them. 3600 dogs have gotten ill and 580 have died. This fact alone should be enough reason to bake for your dog.
