Good Foods Co-op is a locally owned and operated cooperative business where everyone is welcome to shop. Good Foods Market and Café, founded in 1972 and located in Lexington, is central Kentucky's only locally owned and operated cooperative grocery - something our 6,700 owners are extremely proud of! We focus on local, natural, organic, non-GMO products and wholesome foods while supporting over 250 Kentucky farmers and local businesses. We offer fresh, local and organic produce, natural meats, fresh sustainably-fished seafood, grab & go entrees, fresh sushi made with organic rice, gourmet cheese & olives, made-from-scratch baked goods, bulk foods and herbs & spices, body care & wellness products, gluten-free foods and vegetarian/vegan products. Our café offers a hot buffet, salad bar, deli salads & sandwiches, grilled sandwiches, wraps, organic juice bar, organic fair trade coffee, real fruit smoothies, espresso bar and pastries & desserts. We are a trans-fat free kitchen and have free wireless internet in our cafe dining area. Good Foods is open every day from 8 am until 10 pm, closed only on Christmas Day. During the work week our hot buffet is served daily from 11 am until 8 pm. On Saturdays and Sundays we serve brunch from 9 am until 3 pm and dinner from 3 pm until 8 pm. Everyone is always welcome to shop and eat here; just be sure to try our Good Foods kale from our hot bar...it's world famous!

Amazing pasta and garlic bread and the portions are sure not to disappoint. The restaurant is always clean and neat and the staff is always friendly, courteous, and knowledgable. Check for the owner, Kirk, who is always friendly and courteous.
