Description

Since 1938, Goodwill Industries of Northeast Indiana has been providing vocational evaluation; job readiness training; job placement and support to individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment in the ten counties of northeast Indiana. Goodwill’s service delivery is designed to understand employers’ needs while matching those needs to the skills and abilities of our clients. While in Goodwill’s program, clients acquire the necessary skills to increase their marketability, advance in their positions, have the ability to make new choices or seek a new career. We serve adults with disabilities and disadvantages who are referred by Indiana Family & Social Services Administration Vocational Rehabilitation Services and Social Security Ticket to Work program. Our focus is on total integration into the community at competitive wages rather than sheltered workshops. Goodwill’s Employment Services are free to both the client and the employer.

Friends of the Soarin' Hawk is an organization for anyone interested in conservation of birds of prey, whether it be through rehabilitation, education or preservation of habitat.
