The Gothic Theatre was built in 1928. A major renovation of the Theatre in 1998 to transform it into a top music venue. Preserving the Gothic Theaters' art deco style was important, and carefully designing a space that has both great sight lines and good acoustical sound. The Gothic Theatre is a great place to see your favorite band or to discover a new one! The Gothic has hosted many distinguished shows. Breaking Local artists as well as hosting nationally recognized bands. A few of the more noteworthy musicians and bands that have played at The Gothic Theatre are: Lady Gaga, Death Cab for Cutie, Built To Spill, The Fray, Milkman, Broken Bells, Dr. Dog, Pretty Lights, The Cranberries, All Time Low, Ingrid Michaelson, Pat Benatar, Three Six Mafia, Gavin Rossdale (of Bush), Cold War Kids, The Wallflowers, Rise Against, Blue Öyster Cult, The Black Keys and so many more! In addition to the great music, The Gothic Theatre also showcases film screenings such as Matchstick Productions Ski film series, Teton Gravity Research Ski/Snowboard Movie Premiere of The Tangerine Dream and The 48 Hour Film Project.
