Two absolutely FANTASTIC classes so far these week! Feis success has obviously inspired the kids who competed and it's rubbed off on the others too as everybody has upped their game. Get ready for some hard work, Saturday kids 😉 oh and just a reminder, 11 weeks til Feis Number 2! 😊🍀🏆
So very proud of the seven young dancers who represented Gra na Rince at our first feis as a school. I couldn't have been more proud of the way they all performed and handled themselves, especially as many of them have only been dancing for a couple of months. The next one's at the end of January and the prep starts now - slip jigs next week as promised!
Day one at the feis done and dusted, and each and every dancer made us very proud! They've all come away with at least two medals to show for their hard work but dancer of the day is Rachel M, who was very nervous but came away with a 4th in her reel, 3rd in the hop jig and 9th in the light trophy. Congratulations everyone!
Reminder - no classes tomorrow (Saturday 8th) as we'll be at the feis! Hoping to post updates throughout the day, stay tuned x
Well that's it, the last classes before the feis are done! So proud of all our first time feisers, you've been working so hard girls, now's the time to enjoy yourselves and show off what you can do. See you there! X
After two excellent classes today I'm now planning the class feis - first job, picking the medals and trophies for you all to win! Save the date - Saturday 11th July, Selly Oak class venue :)
