Description

Grace Classical School is a classical Christian school that is developing by a group of parents and educators who are passionate about God's glory and classical education. We will begin our first school year in the Fall of 2016, offering grades K-8. Distinctive qualities: · Christian Worldview – The school will be Christ-centered and non-denominational. Christian content and practices will be integrated throughout the school day. · University Schedule – Students will be in class with their teacher 2 full days a week. The teacher will provide a clear and detailed lesson plan for alternate days so that students and their parents know exactly what needs to be done. University schedule allows for flexibly within the family while also providing structure and accountability. · Classical Curriculum - We will follow an academically rigorous methodology that is based on the Trivium. The trivium correlates with the child’s natural developmental stages (Grammar, Logic, & Rhetoric Stages), giving them a well rounded education for any path the Lord leads them to. Mission: Grace Classical School aims to partner with parents in educating their children utilizing the classical model in light of a Christian worldview grounded in the Scriptures. Through weekly interaction, we strive to promote wise thinking by helping each student develop a biblical worldview to be consistently applied to every area of life. Vision: Grace Classical School aims to point each student, in heart and mind, to the goal of furthering Christ’s kingdom. Our desire is to equip students with the tools necessary for lifelong learning so that as they go out into the world they may be wise and discerning, full of knowledge and truth, rooted in the Word of God. Grace Classical School is an ACCS (Association of Christian Classical Schools www.accsedu.org) member school. We are working closely with ACCS to assure that Grace Classical has a successful start-up year with a strong foundation, plenty of experience and accountability to keep us pointed in the right direction as we move forward.
