A student run organization, dedicated to enhancing the experience of all graduate students. The GSA is managed by an elected Executive Board consisting of four full-time graduate students. The Executive is responsible to the Graduate Representative Council (GRC)--the GSA's governing and policy-generating body. In addition, several students serve as Chairs underneath the Executive charged with running specific services, such as awards and international student programming.
A non-for-profit organization governed by U of C graduate students, the GSA is charged with promoting and serving the social, academic and practical well-being and growth of graduate students on campus. The GSA oversees and promotes workshops, special events, the provision of financial aid and support as well as the facilitation of career-based growth and development for graduate students as they progress through their university programs.
