GRANADA BALLROOM - is located in the heart of the city, on the banks of the San Antonio River. The facility is ideal for events of 150 to 300 guests and is located on the 14th floor of the Granada Building, 111 Villita Street at the corner of So. St. Mary's Street. Evening starlit views of the Riverwalk and downtown skyline from the ballroom are especially dramatic for guests. Guests enter the first floor lobby and proceed by elevator to the ballroom which features a high ceiling and perimeter windows that afford guests a view of the San Antonio Riverwalk and downtown skyline. Originally built in the 1930's as the Plaza Hotel one block East of the Bexar County Courthouse, today the Granada Building features downtown apartments. The structure still retains many of its unique architural features and serves as an excellent venue for wedding receptions, debuts, anniversaries, business gatherings and banquets.
