We have been off doing a web site course with Pascal Fintoni what a brilliant course and a great man, if you run a web site it would pay you to visit his site. Over the next few months we will be implementing his training. Most of the ideas you will already know, we just hadn't converted them to web design.

We have been chatting to local parish magazines with a view to advertising or a small article. Any of you gifted people got any ideas about adverts, add them here I would love some ideas, thoughts or words. Thanks

I am a fan of Joan Rivers her work was absolutely groundbreaking superbly intelligent woman ..I will miss her one line come backs. Thanks for the memories. In her own words “On my bucket list, my No1 is: wake up,” she said with her usual flippancy on painful topics.

We have received an order to clean the headstone of a gentleman who was a Quaker. I have read that Quakers laid their headstones down flat... as they believe that no person is above another. There are headstones laid in this way in Ambleside cemetery. Can anyone confirm if this is correct???

We have had the last of hurricane Bertha so our cemetery visits have been short sweet and wet no pictures to share.

Remember when we were kids and someone said 'I dare you....Well I dare you...... “Dare to Be When a new day begins, dare to smile gratefully. When there is darkness, dare to be the first to shine a light. When there is injustice, dare to be the first to condemn it. When something seems difficult, dare to do it anyway. When life seems to beat you down, dare to fight back. When there seems to be no hope, dare to find some. When you’re feeling tired, dare to keep going. When times are tough, dare to be tougher. When love hurts you, dare to love again. When someone is hurting, dare to help them heal. When another is lost, dare to help them find the way. When a friend falls, dare to be the first to extend a hand. When you cross paths with another, dare to make them smile. When you feel great, dare to help someone else feel great too. When the day has ended, dare to feel as you’ve done your best. Dare to be the best you can – At all times, Dare to be!” ― Steve Maraboli, Life, the Truth, and Being Free
