My mates and I were discussing at this years festival how good it would be to have an app for smart phones that listed all the brewers and their beers. You could go through and check the ones you tried and even give a rating for the ones you liked and didn't like or maybe a thumbs up thumbs down. This doesn't have to be shared as it's for personal tastes but you could if you want. Could also have links to the different brewers websites if they have them. It would be handier than the notes taken in the handbooks because I'm sure many people just dispose of them once the festival is over anyway. At least you are more likely to hold onto the info stored on a phone. Just a thought anyway. Cheers

That was tasty! So much good Australian beer.
So, what happened in the photography comp? What were the photos like? Was there a winner? The official BEERtography page mentions nothing either. Unfortunately I couldn't make it due to a muscle injury so wad hoping you'd be my eyes and ears. Last year all entrants were published. Haven't seen a thing so far. Sometimes, although $1000 prize is brilliant. It's just as much about exposure (pardon the pun). Hope it was a successful exhibition in the end. And just as a heads up, a reminder that it's running would be awesome around November because creative people need prompting and time to set shots up. 😀
What a fantastic day yesterday! Thank you to all the brewers, food vendors, staff, volunteers... And thank YOU for for being a part of GABF 2016! SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!!
