I have lived in St Albans for the past 14 years & am a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach & Spin Instructor. I am also qualified in Fitness Pilates and TRX and incorporate them into my training sessions to improve flexibility and muscle tone. I am passionate about running and cycling and have competed in various running races from 5k to half marathons as well as participating in cycling Sportives. I also love taking part in Duathlons and relish the challenges of off-road terrain. I take a holistic approach to health and fitness as I feel it is essential to focus on both the mind and body to improve overall health and well-being. Training outdoors is both exhilarating and invigorating, the changing seasons ensure there is always something new to stimulate the senses, awaken the mind and challenge the body with varied terrain using nature’s own gym. Looking forward to starting the new beatsportive program tonight with the lovely crew from beatbike. This 7 week program consists of weekly 90 minute sessions, involving 30 minutes of outdoor leg and core strength followed by 60 minutes indoors on the Spinning bikes. The aim of this program is to improve core & leg strength and overall efficiency on the bike so cyclists are fully prepared & fired up to take on the 2014 sportive season.
