The central purpose of the Greek Ethnic School of St Anna is to enable all students to immerse themselves in Greek culture and language.

Description

Our school is located next to the Church of St Anna at 31A Crombie Ave, Bundall QLD 4217. Greek lessons are held in parallel to the standard school year and take place on Wednesdays from 4: 30- 7 p.m. We cater to students of all abilities and language levels and teach Modern Greek up to Year 12 High School standard. In addition to reading, writing and speaking Greek, our lesson plans also integrate aspects of Greek life and culture, including history, mythology, food, drama, art and dancing. The school follows the curriculum of AHES (After Hours Ethnic Schooling). The Greek Ethic School of St Anna has also been accredited by the QLD Studies Authority, to offer Modern Greek Studies to years 11 and 12 as part of their senior school education. Upon exit at the end of year 12, students' results in modern Greek will be included in the senior certificate and in the calculation of the students' OP score.
