Description
Grizedale College, named after Grizedale Forest in the Lake District, opened in 1975. The name is of Norse origin and means "Valley of the Wild Boar". (Hence our logo). It is at the heart of campus, and close to shops, catering outlets, the Management School and the George Fox Building. However, the college has been completely revamped recently, only reaching completion late in 2009. We offer some of the most modern accommodation on campus, built to award winning standards. The college itself has a number of facilities available to make life a little easier and hopefully fun. The residences are built adjacent to our administration block which also contains Grizedale Bar, and Grizedale Social Space. Here you can enjoy a coffee or something stronger with friends, or enjoy a simple meal. Also available here are games such as darts and pool, and WII games.
