Description

Growing Young is about more than just having a bit of fun. It's about appreciating that younger or newer isn't always better and that is why a key part of fundraising is through the crafty makes on sale! Most if not all of the items of customised furniture, quilts, cushions are made upcycled from older items and sold for a low cost. All of the proceeds from sales of such items goes directly into the running of Growing Young so that future events can take place, as well as fund material costs for craft and flower arranging workshops. Please message if you have a piece of furniture you wish to have updated or just preloved furniture and bits of clothes to donate! You may could make a massive difference to someone's life just by getting rid of or improving your own things. Some of crafts items that can be made are: - Decoupaged furniture of all descriptions including your own photographs - Cushions, quilts, blankets and soft furnishings - Picture transferred to canvas (up to A4 only) - Restoring and upcycling old furniture - Rag rugs - Glass etching and lots more, if you have something in mind please ask!
