Namaste! and welcome to the FaceBook home of Grumpy Aunt Counselling and Coaching, a mind/body healing business run by Mon Lukas. Mon is a spiritual counselor, intuitive healer, Reiki Master, priestess of the Goddess and eco-warrior. She blends spiritual insight with expertise in physical healing to help people create positive changes in their lives, free themselves from limiting patterns, enable self-healing. Her interest in healing began thirty years ago when she first read Jean Auel's Clan of the Cave Bear and realized that a natural approach to healing using the tools provided by Mother Nature was more honouring to the body's own wisdom than conventional Western medicine which is dependent on pharmaceuticals. Her interest gradually spread to other natural modalities, specifically meditation, Reiki, massage, visualization and nutrition; during her first Reiki attunement, her talent as a medical intuitive was awakened. She has now been a Reiki practitioner for 11 years and a Master for 7. Mon believes that every person has an innate ability to heal themselves, and that her role as Healer is to help her clients access their hidden wisdom and empower them to heal themselves. She recognises and honours them as whole individuals who simply have some aspects in need of healing. Mon is available for email, and face-to-face consultations and distant healing, is able to travel throughout the Northern regions of Melbourne to provide Reiki treatments, and is available for guided meditation and personalised healing rituals.
