Our organization has a long tradition of serving the LGBT community and has experienced an extraordinary year thanks to our loyal supporters and public at large. This year alone we have seen our endowment grow to more than $400,000 enabling us to grant more than $40,000 back to the community. This is important as we try to make our mission of ‘uniting community’ come to life! Founded in 1967, Greensboro Urban Ministry is an ecumenical outreach agency supported by more than 200 congregations representing Protestant, Catholic, and Jewish faith traditions.
