Description
Guru Nanak Punjabi School Adelaide is a wonderful initiative by Guru Nanak Society of Australia and is affiliated to The Ethnic Schools Association of South Australia. This school is based in Allenby Gardens Primary School with classes every Saturday from 1 pm to 3 pm, school holidays being an exception. The main focus is on teaching students written and spoken Punjabi language along with teaching some traditional Punjabi games,values and cultural activities.We started the classes in Term 2,2013 ( week 1 Saturday ) and now have around 45 enrolled students. The mission is to help kids become more aware and attached to their mother tongue Punjabi as well as their Punjabi culture, traditional and religious values. Our recent student excursion to Hahndorf (13th July) was a huge success.
