The Habitat for Humanity, University of Wisconsin Campus Chapter is a student run organization dedicated to the elimination of sub-standard housing. Through our work with the Madison community and our affiliate, Habitat for Humanity of Dane County, the chapter raises tens of thousands of dollars annually and builds a single home. Additionally, chapter members participate in several winter and spring break trips to other areas of the country and have even taken trips internationally.

The Goodman Community Center is a private nonprofit, serving people of all ages from all walks of life. The Goodman Community Center currently houses a preschool, 4-year-old kindergarten, afterschool programs for all ages (including countywide Girls Inc.), an alternative high school, an older adult program, food pantry and a fitness center. We also rent our rooms out to individuals, private corporations and community groups on a daily basis.
