Mobile hair extensions I am fully qualified in pre-bonded and micro loop extensions ~ using only quality Remy hair. (please note I am not a hairdresser - so do not do cut/colour etc - sorry) Covering Sheffield and surrounding areas. (I can cover Leicester on occasions for a supplement). Pre bonded (nail/U tip) Nail Tip extensions (sometimes called U-Tip) are applied by attaching the glue tip to your own hair. Don’t be alarmed by the word glue. This is a protein called keratin which is harmless to your hair. Traditionally done with a heat application this is a popular way to get permanent volume and length! The removal of pre bonded is done by using acetone, so this type of hair extension is not suitable for anyone with a skin condition or irritant (such as eczema or psoriasis for example) or anyone with asthma. Micro loop Micro loop are individual strands, weighing either 05.g or 1g. Applied with no glue, heat or chemicals being used. They are attached to the hair using a small silicone bead. There is glue at the tip of the hair to secure it together, but this is not attached to your hair. With ALL types of hair extensions, up keep and maintenance checks are of the utmost importance. Your hair extensions will only have a healthy life if you treat them with lots of TLC. You will be given full information upon consultation on how to do this.
