Welcome to Hair Majesty, Kingston upon Hull’s professional vintage, classic and contemporary hairdressing salon. My name is Sarah Clayton, Hair Majesty’s Creator and Head Girl! Breaking away as a senior hairstylist for one of the city’s most prestigious and reputable salons, I followed my dream to teach the new generation of Hull’s young hairdressing wannabes. In 2006, I was employed by a leading training organisation to tutor and mentor hairdressing students to the highest level. However, after chasing another of my desires; I opened the doors of Hair Majesty in March 2014 with a view to bring in some quality hairdressing at an affordable price. Hair Majesty can offer you a menu of professional hair, beauty and foot care services with a team of friendly and experienced professionals. The salon is uniquely nostalgic and retro-quirky inside. Our customers (men, women and children) often comment on the warm, homely feel of the place and quite often pop in for a chat, in-between hair visits. What makes us so special? Hair Majesty’s Vintage and Retro Hair and Beauty services are available for: • Parties, birthday, pamper or hen parties… celebrate with a vintage make-over, within the salon or place of your choice. In-Salon children’s pamper parties last for 1.5-2 hrs. Within this time we offer hair curling/styling, make-over, pretty nails, Sweet treats, child friendly cocktails and music. £10.00 per child. Hair Majesty can hold up to 10 guests. Ladies’ pamper parties- times may vary depending on numbers, venue (salon or away) and on any special requirements. Let us create you a vintage make-over while you relax and enjoy the experience with your friends. Feel free to bring your own bubbly. Salon can hold up to 10 guests. Prices will match those of the Hair Majesty Signature Pin Up. • Hair Majesty Academy Workshops. Have fun and learn how to create your own vintage looks/make overs with demonstrations on technique for finger waving, rolls, pleats, the bouffant, beehives and more. Working on real models (experience not always necessary) discover your inner pin-up goddess. 3 hr session £30pp • Hair Majesty Weddings. vintage/modern/classic and contemporary These packages fall into 4 categories: 1. Bride only-Wedding hair consultation, 2 hair trials and actual wedding day hair- £98.00 2. Bride and 2 guests- hair consultation, 2 hair trials, bride +2 guests actual wedding day hair - £138.00 3. Bride and 3 guests- hair consultation, 2 hair trials, bride + 3 guests actual wedding day hair- £158.00 4. Bride and 4 guests- hair consultation, 2 hair trials, bride + 4 guests actual wedding day hair - £178.00 *These prices are for local or salon based visits. Further distances are negotiable. *make-up also available for extra £5.00 pp. • Hair Majesty Signature Pin-Up- look fantastic for your special occasion, choosing from vintage/modern/classic and contemporary - £10.00- £15 for hair styling. £20-£25 for makeover and lashes • Hair Majesty Photographic Work – let us style you or your models for vintage, pin-up promotional work. Prices vary, depending on requirements and venue. • 1-1 Tutorials with Hair Majesty – are you wanting to create a certain look for yourself, or a friend? Perhaps you’re getting married abroad and fancy doing your own look? Or do you want to learn some techniques for yourself? This is a 1-1 step by step hour long tutorial on yourself creating vintage/ friend creating you vintage. Learn how to style, control and secure a vintage look easily. £25.00 or £30.00inc make up tutorial, £35inc lashes. • Special events/ cooperate or other – Hair Majesty is available for hire to provide your guests with fun vintage hairstyling and makeovers.
