Black People Deserve to know the Truth on all Issues Pertaining to Black Hair including: The Political, Economic and Social Dynamics on Why Certain Outdated Ideas and Practices on Black Hair Remain Constant. For centuries Black people have adhered to a standard of beauty dictated them by those outside of their own cultures. The effort to fix what is not broken has caused generations of self-hate resulting in beauty practices that are detrimental to the health, welfare and mental state of Black people. Black hair is not broken and does not need harsh chemicals to relax. Black noses are not broken and do need shape changes and finally, Black skin of all shades is beautiful and does not need bleaching.
