Who is HaitianJonas?HaitianJonas is a rising activist in Boston’s urban community with interests in the Haitian Diaspora and youth development. He brings with him over a decade of experience in community outreach, development, marketing, including public relations and fundraising services for President Michel Martelly.Haitianjonas accomplishments:• Founded Haitians of Tomorrow (H.O.T) providing free sports training, mentorship, education, guidance for Mattapan and Dorchester area youths (not exclusive to Haitian community) as well establish youth and adult summer soccer leagues• Hosted Haitian National Soccer Team during 2009 Haiti vs. USA soccer invitational, coordinating public relations events for Haitian soccer team to build US support• Books and clothing drives and planning efforts with Fallon Ambulance Service as well fundraising Efforts for Flap Haiti and Soeurs Redemptrices de Nazareth Orphanage• Coordinates community outreach efforts for immigration law advocacy work provided by Greater Boston Legal Services• Haitian-American Public Health Initiative and Haitian-American United Annual Flag Day Planning Committee• Massachusetts Haitian Relief Effort Task Force Committee• Provided family locator services to assist with Haitian earthquake relief efforts via personal radio show, NPR news, CNN, social networking, and team members located in both Haiti and the Dominican RepublicHaitianjonas’ goal:• Always show the beauty of Haiti.• Bring the Caribbean together• Provide to the needy• Remind Haitians Diaspora of Haitiwhat's Haitianjonas dream
