HAMILTON BOAT CLUB: (Information Reminder) October 8, 2014 Subject: October Business Meeting Members, Just a reminder our next scheduled business meeting will be held Friday at 8 p.m,10/10/2014 sharp at the club. The October meeting is an important meeting to attend. Officers and trustees must declare if they will be running again for office. Any member wishing to run for an officer or trustee position may declare their intent at that time as well. It's the time of the season that we must prepare the club for its winter mode of operation. Winterizing work party dates will be discussed & established. The club has enjoyed a significant increase in membership usage this season. Many of you have taken advantage and enjoyed using club assets during the 2014 season. Now its time to give back. Your help is needed. Winterizing the facility and supporting improvement projects can not be completed on their own. It takes membership support! I encourage every member to make it a priority to attend this meeting. Hope to see you there. Refreshments, cash drawing and food after the meeting adjourns. Best regards, A.M.A. HBCFBIO

Hamilton Boat Club: (Information Update) August 29, 2014 Subject: Labor Day weekend H B C Members , No matter what recreational direction you plan to follow this Labor Day weekend we hope you will enjoy a festive and safe holiday. Providing the weather co-operates our local rivers and lakes will see a surge in visitors fishing, skiing, tubing and swimming on our local waterways. This is a reminder that having accessible and proper safety gear on board your boat can make the difference having a great weekend or one that has a much different consequence. Swimming in rivers can be very deceiving as sinkhole under tows can pull you under. Wearing a life jacket while swimming in the river can save your life. Exercise caution if you are fishing from the bank, or from a boat dock. Lakes provide additional challenges mainly higher volume boat traffic that PWC riders and boat pilots must be aware of. If you will be at the H B C this weekend please advise your guest that all children on club or private boat docks MUST wear a life jacket and have adult supervision. Swimming from the HBC boat launch ramp is prohibited. We hope this has been an enjoyable boating season for our membership and guest. Have a safe Labor Day weekend. H B C / A.M.A.

HAMILTON BOAT CLUB: (Information Update) August 25, 2014' Subject: General information Members, As the season winds down so has club boating activity. This has been an unusual year for ideal weather and river conditions at the club and on the river. No need to winterize your boat just yet. The next 30 days will offer some really good boating days to close out the season. I understand all of the kinks have been worked out for our continued support of the Cincy Bell / WEBN Riverfest fireworks program. To all Riverfest Patrol Captains and crews we wish you a safe and trouble free day. Members, we are still having issues with club grills not being cleaned and covered after being used and the garbage can on the back porch not being emptied. Take pride in YOUR CLUB "PITCH IN and PICK UP" when you use the facility. The Labor Day weekend is a great time to enjoy the H B C. Come out and take advantage of the club recreational assets and enjoy the day!!!!! Regards, A.M.A.
