Description

The definition of ‘Nottingham the City of Caves’ the Hand & Heart is a traditional English Pub with a dining area at the back set in a sandstone cave. This beautiful and interesting setting is contrasted with a light Garden Room conservatory upstairs with a fantastic sheltered smoking terrace. As a free house the Hand & Heart is famous for its exceptional selection of real ales, scooping the Nottingham CAMRA Pub of the Year 2012, amongst many other awards. It specialises in LocAle ales, giving you the chance to try Nottingham’s best ales. It also offers a wide range of real ciders and perrys, whiskeys and fine wines. Not only is the drink selection alone worth trying, the pub offers locally sourced home cooked English food and is renowned for its delicious Sunday Lunches. There is always something going on at the Hand & Heart; whether it’s the live music every Thursday or its own Beer Festivals throughout the year!

Just a quick apology for an error left on the website: Anyone who came along on the 9th July expecting Green String Theory - they unfortunately had to cancel the week before and Folkin' Fish kindly stepped in. I do all the website updates personally (despite being very un-technoglogical!!) and was on holiday. So, sorry for any disappointment caused and I hope everyone who went along enjoyed Folkin' Fish anyway! Cheers, Ruth x
