This is our video now showing on the "BIG" screen at the Alamo Kids Camp. The Library will be one of the beneficiaries of this year’s Kids Camp at the Alamo. All proceeds from Kids Camp showings in the month of July will go to benefit Handley Regional Library. The films being shown to benefit the Library are The Lego Movie, July 1-7; Horton Hears a Who, July 8-14; Jumanji, July 15-21; and Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, July 22-28. Patrons are asked to pay $1-$3 per person. Viewings begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Alamo Cinema Drafthouse.
Bowman Library's Open House was held on Sunday, July 1, 2001. It was the first time the public was able to come check out their new Handley Regional Library location. We will be celebrating Bowman's 15th anniversary this month!

Today Becky Ebert, first and only Archivist in the Stewart Bell Jr. Archives, celebrated 35 years of working at Handley Regional Library. Friends, researchers, current and former staff members, and members of the community stopped by to wish her well. Becky said her goal is to match the work-year record of C. Vernon Eddy, first Librarian of Handley Library who served for 46 years! Here’s current Library Director John Huddy presenting a certificate and a few words of congratulations from Elizabeth Minor, Winchester Mayor.
