Bringing our Services to You Our goal is to support your continued independence by helping you maintain or improve your functional ability--your strength, stability, and mobility. Our services aim to reduce your pain, increase your relaxation, and give you a greater sense of well-being. There are presently four components to Hands and Hearts Wellness which are offered in a variety of flexible packages: - Senior Wellness Chair Massage: Is designed to relax and restore and though not therapeutic, regular massage can support older adults to maintain or improve their functional mobility and reduce their pain so they can increase their ability to stay autonomous and independent longer. Massages can also be given while client is in a wheelchair or bed if health and mobility issues dictate. - Seniors Fitness: A system of personalized and progressive exercises that are designed to improve the clients fitness level and specifically to gain and maintain the level of fitness necessary to take care of personal, household, social and daily living needs. - Chair Yoga: A system of gentle yoga postures that are practiced sitting in a chair. We provide a preventative approach to maintaining physical and emotional well-being. This approach is particularly suitable for older adults and those with health challenges, but it can benefit anyone. - Laughter Yoga: A technique blending yogic deep breathing, easy stretching, aerobic activities and self-generated laughter exercises.
