I have worked in the Twin Cities area for almost 5 years now, at great and successful salons. They have all taught me well, and have giving me great opportunities in training and experience. I have now brought my talents to The Uptown Hair District. I have worked under many great stylists who have worked all over the country in places such as Beverly Hills, on sets of TV shows, and New York just to name a few. They have taught be all of their great tricks of the trade, which I have brought together and created my own vision and look to bring to my clients. My training in cutting is a mixture between American and European techniques. I love giving shape to hair that makes styling at home simple and easy for you. From long beautiful layers to a soft sleek bob, I can find the look that you have been always wanting and that fits your lifestyle, face shape, and personality. I am a master at blowouts. I am able to make the curliest, bulky hair sleek and straight or the finest, flattest hair have volume and movement and "Red Carpet" ready. I can show you quick and easy ways to achive the look at home so you can always feel fabulous. Color has always been a favorite of mine since I was in school. I use a Balayage technique for highlighting hair which I gives more dimension and a natural look to the hair. With this you have more control of how the highlights lift, and are able to control where you want to focus the brightness. The grow out is also a lot easier, and more natural looking, along with being less damaging than foiling your hair.
