Description

Happy Talk is a private term time run nursery managed by a friendly team of qualified staff. All managers / supervisory staff and assistant staff have gained experience and qualifications to supervise and work with pre-school children. Our Nursery is situated in a quiet leafy area, in the centre of Anstey park. Surrounding the nursery is a large secured outside area, where children can play and run freely. Within the outside space there is a decked area, and a raised flower bed with space for children to plant their own vegetables and flowers, as well as dig holes and look for treasures. Inside our nursery, children play and work together within a large hall, there is also a smaller hall for quieter times, such as, stories, music, instruments and dance. This is also used for small group activities as well as speech and language games. Happy Talk work alongside the ‘statutory framework requirements’ affiliated by OFSTED and has received a good report following their OFSTED Inspection, details can be found on the OFSTED website that can be found by following the link below: http://www.ofsted.gov.uk/inspection-reports/find-inspection-report/provider/CARE/109972 Key-Person: At Happy Talk, we operate a Key-worker system. This means that every child is allocated a qualified member of staff who takes notes and records your child’s learning and development progress throughout their time at Nursery. All records are recorded into your child's own individual "Learning and Development Journal". Hampshire County Council Educational Grant: The term after your child’s 3rd birthday will entitle them to receive up to 15 hours of free nursery care, and education per week.If your child is on the approved 2 year old funding, they will be able to receive 15 hours of free nursery care, and education per week, starting the term after their 2nd birthday. At Happy Talk we will arrange and help you fill out all appropriate forms, enabling your child to receive their free educational grant. Happy Talk operates in term time only and the following fees apply: £4.00 per hour. £12.00 per three-hour session. £2.00 per lunch club. £26.00 per day (9.00 - 3.30). Lunch Club: Parent/Carers supply a packed lunch for their own child/ren. Our policy states no Chocolate, sweets, or fizzy drinks at lunch and snack times. Lunch club is open to all children and operates from 12.00 to 12.30. Lunch club is very flexible, you can add it onto the end of a morning session, or add it at the start of an afternoon session.
