Head Kandy's owner, Ryan Fortey has worked in the city as a stylist for more than a decade and through the past few years built up a fantastic team of stylists, and insists on a relaxed, informal and friendly atmosphere in the salon. Hairdressing From blow-dries and cuts to restyles and put ups. Gents, Ladies and Children of all ages are all welcome. We specialise in a ladies layered bobs of all angles, and long layered cuts. Head Kandy are well known for the friendly and relaxed environment in which we work, thus making for a fully enjoyable experience. Barbering We pride ourselves on being up to date with Gents cuts. Using texture, colour and a close attention to detail, sharp edges and tight blends we are able to create that funky look most men are looking for. Colouring We use L'oreal professional colour; Permanent, semi, Quasi and Toners to achieve a fantastic colour explosion to enhance your hairs natural beauty. Extensions We use Balamain 100% Human Hair which is guaranteed for 6 months of wear. During the process we invite you to have a full consultation with one of our experts so that we are sure to meet your full requirements. We also have a cheaper alternative for when you just need temporary wear. Threading Threading hair is an ancient method commonly practiced in Eastern countries, like Egypt and India, but is becoming very popular here in the West. Threading removes the entire hair follicle, lasting up to 6 weeks. How Does it Work? A cotton thread is pulled along unwanted hair in a twisting motion, to trap hair in a mini lasso, and lifts hair right out of the follicle. Threading is mainly done around the facial area e.g eyebrows, upperlip, chin etc. Eyebrows and Eyelashes Eyelash/Eyebrow tinting This treatment offers an effective long term alternative to the daily use of mascara. It last for about 4-5 weeks. It is available in many colours: black, brown, blue and grey. The treatment takes 10-15mins for eyelash tinting and 5mins for eyebrow tinting.
