HEAT Theatre, Halifax, is a not-for-profit theatre society. It produces and develops Canadian plays that meld art and issue in brilliantly theatrical, uniquely Canadian, issue driven productions. Associate Artist for HEAT is award-winning Nova Scotian writer and actor Wanda Graham. For five years she was Artistic Director of Stage East Theatre in Halifax where she produced 13 shows – including nine new plays, four musicals and nine touring shows. As its premiere production, HEAT Theatre is presenting Kill Zone a love story, a new play by Wanda Graham. Kill Zone a love story will run at the Sir James Dunn Theatre, 6101 University Avenue, Halifax from June 12 – June 16, 2013 Previews: Wednesday, June 12 at 2 PM, Opens: Wednesday June 12 at 8:00PM, with shows: - Thursday 8 PM, Friday, 8 PM, - Saturday 2:00 PM & 8 PM - Sunday 2 PM & 8 PM.
