Description
Hermes is a commercial art dealer located in the North end of Halifax, on the corner of Agricola and North Street. We represent both new and established artists with a wide range of work including paintings, photographs, drawings and other exceptional creations. Payment plans and gift certificates are available. Some of artists we currently represent include Mitchell Weibe, Colin Canary, Hangama Amiri, Andrew Hunt, Matthis Grunsky, Cliff Eyland,Adrian Fish, Kate Walchuck and Mary Ellen Oxby. Director Emily Jones studied art in the Masters program at the University of Chicago. She has curated independently for the Dalhousie Art Gallery, the Khyber Arts Society, and the Current Gallery in Baltimore. In 2007 she launched the Fuller Terrace Fundamental Freedoms public lecture series which evolved into the ongoing Fuller Lecture series.
