On September 5, TaylorMade Golf opened the newest TaylorMade Performance Lab (TMPL) at Gleneagles Country Club. As one of four “flagship” locations across the country, Gleneagles will become a destination for golfers within the greater Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and beyond. Beginning on October 4th, access to the facility will be exclusive to ClubCorp members before becoming open to the public on November 5th. TaylorMade Performance Labs provide golfers of all ages and abilities a state of the art fitting experience that uses 3D motion capture technology. Once reserved for PGA Tour Professionals, the technology featured in every TaylorMade Performance Lab experience provides detailed data for both golfer and golf club throughout the entire swing in measurements down to a tenth of a degree. Our certified TaylorMade Clubfitting Professionals analyze this data to provide you a set of clubs that are built around the specific needs of your golf swing, allowing you to hit the ball longer and straighter with better control. This two hour fitting experience is conducted in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and includes a full analysis of driver, woods, wedge and putter. HOW DOES IT WORK? Every TaylorMade Performance Labs fitting experience features TaylorMade’s MAT-T System. Reflective markers are positioned on strategic points of the body, as well as on the grip, shaft, and head of the specially designed MAT-T club. Six high-speed cameras pick up the motion of each marker and conveys the information gathered from each swing to a computer.
