Description

Dr. Christine Mueller graduated from Augustana College with a B.A. in Chemistry. She earned her M.D. at the University of Chicago-Pritzker School of Medicine and her masters of health professions education at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is board certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians. She speaks English, Spanish, French and German. Previously affiliated with Elgin Family Physicians (1991-2015), she has been recognized with many honors including the People Pillar Award, Sherman Hospital, 2008; Teaching Excellence Award -- PA Program, 1991 and Resident Teacher of the Year, 1991. She currently is a member of the American Medical Women's Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, Society of Teachers of Family Medicine, Doctors Ought to Care, Illinois Academy of Family Physicians, Kane County Medical Society, Illinois State Medical Society and Advocate Sherman Hospital/Presence St. Joseph Hospital CME Consortium co-chair. Dr. Mueller's community involvement is extensive. She has served in a volunteer capacity as the medical director of the Fox Valley Volunteer Hospice overseeing the case management of patients for the all volunteer organization since 2010.
