Hobsons Bay Dental is a well established dental practice in Melbourne's inner West.The practice is well known throughout Melbourne for high quality general dentistry with a focus on personal and gentle patient management. We have recently upgraded facilities to include a new state of the art sterilization centre, patient refresh facilities, and the latest technological updates including xray equipment, phosphor plate imaging and reciprocating endodontics. Hicaps facilities have been instigated, meaning that health insurance rebates can be claimed on the spot. We welcome new patients and endeavour to see emergencies as promptly as possible. Whilst situated in the heart of Hobsons Bay municipal area, we are also closely located to the city and surrounding suburbs, and many of our patients come from all over Melbourne. Our practice principal, Dr Daniel Andrews graduated with honours from the University of Melbourne Dental school in 2000, after obtaining recognition and lab sponsorship for his keen interest and skills in prosthodontics. Since graduation he has worked in a number of clinics throughout Melbourne, but mainly in the town of Sunbury, where he experienced a broad range of clinical experience and challenges. He is actively involved in continuing education and furthering his knowledge of techniques and materials, and likes to stay up to date with the latest gadgets. Growing up in the Williamstown area, and attending Williamstown Grammar, it's been a dream of his to one day return to serve his local community. He is pleased to return to the local area with his perfectionist mentality and caring nature, and in a strange turn of events finds himself working directly across the road from the McDonalds, his first ever job where he spent 7 yrs during highschool and University working to pay for his education. Dr Oliver Cvekus graduated dux of his dental class after completing a degree in Biomedical science. Like the other dentists at our clinic, he encompasses a gentle and conservative philosophy, and a down to earth chairside manner. Dr Jack Milgate has been practicing in Country Victoria, and has recently moved back to Melbourne and brings a relaxed and refreshing attitude together with the same care and empathy as the other practitioners. Dr Gianni Bramante has been working in the public sector and brings a wealth of experience to our clinic. He has an interest in special needs dentistry and also brings the same understanding nature as our other practitioners.
