My Breast Cancer Support is a NH 501(c)3 organization providing support to local breast cancer patients. Close to 300,000 women and men are diagnosed with breast cancer each year in the United States. Thousands of those patients live in NH and ME and a large percentage reside right here in the Greater Seacoast area. Research is a critical component to ending breast cancer, but research does little to aid the anxiety of a patient who is currently going through treatment. Studies show that distress can affect a patient’s physical progress as well as interfere with the body’s immune system which, in turn, may have a negative impact on the course of the disease. My Breast Cancer Support has helped hundreds of local patients take the day-to-day stress out of their lives so they can focus their energy on getting WELL.
