"A Place to Record" Home Street Recording Company is a home based recording studio serving independent artists in the Winnipeg area. It is our belief that we will achieve this goal by focusing on obtaining a high quality recording of high quality music played by high quality musicians on high quality instruments all while keeping costs as low as possible for the musician or band. We run Pro Tools 9, the industry standard in digital audio recording. Using a Digi Rack 003 with a Presonus Digimax D8 we are capable of up to 16 simultaneous recording inputs and 48 tracks of mixing. We also have an assortment of high quality microphones, preamps, and a selection of digital audio processors for enhancing your music including several Universal Audio plug-ins, Reason 4, Amplitube, Ampeg SVX, SampleTank, T-RackS3 Deluxe Mastering Suite, Classik Studio Reverb by IK Multimedia and much, much more. Prices are on a sliding scale based on the needs of the group or artist involved and the complexity of the project. In all cases you can expect to pay way below the industry average as we believe in accessible ways to record your music, not in making a profit at any cost.
