Homes For Huskies Rescue Inc. is based in Melbourne Victoria and is a small like minded dedicated group of volunteers committed to saving the lives of unwanted Siberian Huskies or Siberian Huskies where exceptional circumstances prevail that their owners can no longer look after them and finding them their perfect forever home. While we are new to becoming public we have been rescuing since the beginning of 2014 and have successfully rehomed 10 gorgeous dogs to their perfect furever homes. We are still small but hope to build our foster care group so we can continue our work in rescuing and successfully rehoming Siberian Huskies. We take surrendered or impounded Siberian Huskies when possible and place them in foster care in loving private homes where they are assessed to better match them with their prospective furever homes and to rehabilitate them if required to achieve a successful rehoming. We may be also to assist with the re-homing of dogs directly from the owners. There are several levels of assistance possible, from providing basic advice on how you can rehome your own dog, through to finding and facilitating the transfer to a new home on your behalf. It is required that the dog can continue to reside with the original owner until a suitable home can be found. All Homes for Huskies will be fully vet worked in our care this includes Desexing, Micro Chipping, C5 Vaccination, Heartworm test and treatment and internal and external parasite treatments. The adoption cost of our dogs is used to cover the operating cost of our foster and veterinary care, transportation and other such expenses incurred in rescuing and rehoming Siberian Huskies. Also to assist in the ongoing costs of rescuing Siberian Huskies in need as we get no government funding and rely on donations from the public.

We never have a shortage of dogs needing rescue, and for some, we are their only chance at a second chance. Foster homes are our greatest asset and the resource we need the most.
