The Homewood Suites by Hilton is part of a mixed-use development known as Midtown, which currently Southwest Branch Bank and parking garage. A 60,000 square foot medical office building and retail space are planned to be built also within Midtown. The Homewood Suites by Hilton is an upscale, all-suite, residential-style hotel targeted toward both business and leisure travelers seeking comfortable and home-like accommodations when traveling for an extended stay (defined in the hotel industry as five or more consecutive nights). To meet the needs of these target guests, the hotel will include a central lodge area with a living room and fireplace, business center, meeting space, exercise facility and an outdoor area with a swimming pool, spa and gas grills. Additionally, the guest rooms will include a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and coffer maker. The hotel is situated just south of I-30 at the northeast corner of Forest Park Boulevard and West Rosedale Street.
