Hoole Bank Day Nursery was established in 1997 as an independent day nursery providing high quality care for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Description

Registered with Cheshire County Council and Ofsted, the nursery provides 42 childcare places, making us a small but caring and homely setting. The building of the nursery is situated near Hoole in Chester and is easily accessible by the road networks. Our building sits on an acre of landscaped garden which has allowed us to install a full range of outdoor facilities. These include a large soft surface playground with climbing equipment, a lawn area, a paved surface play area with play houses, a wooden structure adventure playground, and a vegetable and herb garden with fruit trees. Inside, all the rooms used by the children are on the ground floor. Babies are cared for in the purpose built baby room. It is decorated with soothing colours and decorations to stimulate babies through their developing senses. Each baby is allocated their own cot for sleeping. Toddlers benefit from the use of their own room equipped with both a carpeted and non-slip vinyl area for art and snacks. Circle time, singing and dance, painting, water and sand play are just some of the daily activities. The pre-school room is equally well equipped with additional facilities more suited to their level. These include a more extensive library of books and number of computers for use with educational programmes. The nursery delivers the government’s statutory EYFS framework to all the children under its care. This is an integrated, play-based approach and emphasises the individuality of each child. The children are encouraged to develop based on their interests and strengths to reach their full potential. The nursery was last inspected by Ofsted in July, 2012 with excellent overall results and commendation. The nursery is registered with the local council to accept the Government Nursery Grants as well as accepts employers’ childcare vouchers. The nursery's philosophy is to provide the highest standard in pre-school education and childcare through qualified staff and first class equipment, equipping children with the necessary skills and knowledge for their future school life and beyond.
