We are a Registered Charity, dedicated to saving lives, one critter at a time. www.hoppyhomesrescue.com hoppyhomesrescue@gmail.com Welcome to Hoppy Homes Rescue! Our rescue is a registered charity dedicated to saving the lives of rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, birds, ferrets, chinchillas and many other small animals. These little critters are often overlooked and euthanized in traditional shelters. The rescue works closely with other animal shelters on the island to help save as many critters as we possibly can. Hoppy Homes Rescue takes in unwanted pets, they remain in foster care until they find new owners. There is no limit on the amount of time they can spend with us. We feel that their lives are important too; so our mission is to rescue them, look after them, and find them new ‘Hoppy’ homes. We also educate new owners on how to properly care for their new little friends. The rescue only take pets when space is available, our first priority is the shelter animals that need a place to go. Through a network of foster homes and volunteers, the rescue provides a safe haven for these little creatures until a loving, permanent home can be found. While we rescue and help all sorts of little critters, rabbits seem to be the most frequent visitor here at the rescue. Before you decide to go to a breeder or pet store, please visit us! Our volunteers are busy, so send us an email if you are interested in adopting! Please don’t buy, ‘Hop To Adopt’ and you can save a life instead!

Description

Our mission is to find permanent, loving homes for domestic rabbits, birds and other critters that have been abandoned, surrendered or abused. We provide a safe haven for these critters and medical care as needed. These rabbits, birds and other critters are then offered for adoption into loving homes. We educate potential adopters on proper critter care and behavior to maximize chances of successful and permanent placements. We also spay or neuter all rabbits placed for adoption to help reduce rabbit overpopulation.
