This historic, Art Deco inspired, hotel is located in the heart of downtown Milwaukee's art and financial district. Our suites are spacious, 450 to 720 sq ft. We are located in the middle of a very walk friendly and restaurant rich neighborhood. We are close to the lake front, Milwaukee Art Museum, Harley Davidson Museum and the Frontier Airlines/Wisconsin Center. Hotel Metro has become one of the most beloved hotels in downtown Milwaukee, WI. Since its grand opening in 1998, our boutique property has been praised as “one of the top hotels in the world” by Travel + Leisure magazine, and The New York Times recommended Metro as “where to stay” in Milwaukee. Most recently, we were honored with the 2013 Excellence Award from TripAdvisor. Thanks to our ongoing eco-friendly initiatives, Hotel Metro has become the first hotel in Milwaukee to be certified by Travel Green Wisconsin. The John Mariner building that house Hotel Metro is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and we are a proud member of Historic Hotels of America.
