Our friendly staff is looking forward to serving you! Our Heritage: In the spring of 1973, the House of James Book and Record Shop opened its doors in Mission. The bookshop, managed by Lando Klassen, evolved from the House of James coffeehouse ministry which began in 1970. The name House of James is taken from the book James in the Bible, where the theme of putting faith to work is emphasized.
