First Friday St. Pete gets rolling on Central Avenue between 2nd and 3rd Street on – you guessed it! – the first Friday of every month. The party starts at 5:30pm and goes until 10. Your admission is free, the music is live, and vendors and restaurants offer a wide variety of food and drink. Parking: There are several parking garages adjacent to the event, including one just to the west on Central. There is also limited on-street parking nearby. Pets: Unfortunately, we can’t allow pets into the event area, but service animals are welcome. Facilities: Portable toilets are available on site. Please note that restaurant and bars’ facilities are for their patrons’ use only. Access: The block party site itself is wheelchair accessible, and an accessible portable toilet is also available. Seating: If you’d like to sit down to enjoy the music, we encourage you to bring a camp chair or folding chair. Seating is also available for customers of nearby bars and restaurants. Security: Security for First Friday is provided by the St. Petersburg Police Department. So no funny business! Coolers: Sorry, no coolers are allowed at the event. Support the businesses who make First Friday possible! Bicycles and Motorcycles: We love all kinds of cyclists, but vehicles are not permitted inside the block party. Please park in a nearby lot, garage, or rack. Solicitation and Vending: To discuss opportunities to participate in First Friday, please contact the Breakfast Optimist Club. Solicitation, vending, or promotion of any kind is not allowed unless you have an agreement with organizers.
